Goals¶

This page contains a list of future goals and ideas for the RPInventory project.

This is a general list of ideas, not a specific list features to add. See the To Do page for a list of coding tasks.

Completed:¶

• Web based management of RPI clubs' inventories
• Officers of clubs can collectively keep track of a club's inventory
• Club members can see what the club has to loan out
• Allow open read access to the Subversion Repository
• Bug Tracker
• Integrate with the Union club management system
• Enable adding multiple items at once

Not Completed:¶

• Replace the current inventory system
• Have one installation for all RPI clubs
• Encourage club officers to try out RPInventory
• Combine the "AddInventory" and "ViewInventory" pages
• Enable copying inventory items for addition
• Enable adding X number of businesses at once
• Allow a "dump" of the inventory/repairs/purchases/loans/etc
